2 parents and a child smiling at the camera

It’s Saturday morning, and your "to-do" list is already a mile long. Between grocery runs and shuttling the kids to practice or activities, finding a second for yourself feels impossible.

It’s easy to feel that "Minnesota Nice" guilt when you think about taking an hour for yourself. But here’s the truth: you can’t pour from an empty cup, and our community is stronger when our parents are healthy and energized.

Your Saturday Morning Reset (8:00 AM – 11:00 AM)

We’ve got the perfect game plan to help you ditch the guilt and find your glow. Drop the kiddos off at our Child Watch (available every Saturday from 8 to 11 a.m.). Our team will keep them safe and having fun while you focus entirely on you.

Not sure what to do with your kid-free time? If you love the energy of a group, jump into a BODYPUMP or BODYCOMBAT class to blow off some steam.

If you need to find your center after a long week, our Yoga or Cycling classes are the perfect escape from the stress of Nokomis traffic.

Prefer to go at your own pace? Head upstairs to the studio for Fitness on Demand virtual classes, or grab a lane for some peaceful laps in the pool. You could even just hit the fitness center for a solo session while listening to your favorite podcast (totally uninterrupted ).

The "Secret" Self-Care

Since kids can stay in Child Watch for up to two hours, don’t rush back out into the Alexandria cold! Use those extra minutes to enjoy a hot shower after your workout.

Follow it up with a free cup of coffee in the lobby that you actually get to drink while it’s still hot. It’s a small luxury that makes a world of difference before you head back out into the real world.

Afternoon Adventures: Family Fun Swim

After you’ve filled your own tank, it’s time for some family bonding. Come back from 1:30 to 4:30 p.m. for Fun Swim!

We turn on the water features and the big water slide. It’s the best way to burn off that extra weekend winter energy.

If you aren't feeling the pool, head to the gym for some games, or challenge the kids to a foosball or table tennis match. You’re not just having fun, you’re showing your kids that being active is a blast.
