Summer camps at the YMCA give children the opportunity to try new things, make new friends, and create lasting memories.
Summer Adventure Camp
Ages 5-11
Summer fun for your school age child starts here! Camp is filled with learning, physical activity, and adventure. Our four core values of Caring, Honesty, Respect and Responsibility are focused in our daily activities. We have an engaging curriculum to keep us active and provide fun all summer long.

Leaders in Training
Ages 12-14
Leaders in Training with work with camp counselors to focus on cooperation, team building, and group leadership skills. A LIT camper will leave with a greater sense oneself and the necessary lifelong skills to be a positive leader.

Parent Information
Camp will operate all summer, Monday through Friday, 7 a.m.- 6 p.m. Campers may register for just one week or all the weeks. Sessions began June 6 through September 2. We will have off-site locations to house 24 campers. You can request an off-site location.
Safety is our first priority.
Campers are taught the YMCA core values of caring, honesty, respect and responsibility.
All camp staff are CPR and first-aid certified. With a staff-to-child ratio of 1:15, we make sure that each staff member can give the required attention to each child.
Swimming
Children that are 7 or older will complete a swim test given by lifeguards. If they pass they will be given a colored and that communicates to staff that the child is allowed to swim in the deep end. Children younger than 7 must remain in the shallow end.

We recommend labeling belongings with your child's name.

Each Friday we will email a parent newsletter with highlights and need-to-know details for the upcoming week.
