Jeff Bartholomew
Executive Director
Jeff accepted the responsibilities as Chief Executive Officer of the Alexandria Area YMCA in May 2006.
Jeff began working for the YMCA organization as the Youth Director at the Rochester Area Family YMCA, upon graduation from college, and later became Assistant Executive Director. From there, Jeff served as Executive Director at the Door County YMCA, in Sturgeon Bay, Wisconsin, from 1998-2006.
He received a BS Degree in Sociology, Urban and Community Development, from Winona State University.
Jeff was born and raised in Rochester, Minnesota, but has ties to the Alexandria Area. Jeff's mother was born in Evansville, and she attended high school in Alexandria in the 1950s. Jeff had vacationed on Lake Carlos for over 20 years, as his grandparents farmed in the Carlos area.
Jeff and his wife Diana, have two children, Amber, a junior at the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay, and Nolan, 10th grade at Brandon high school.
